(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Its just how it is! Ive done everything and the game just lags. My connection is almost 90% always a 4 bar. I am almost always chosen as host for my connection. I have flashed my router with DD-WRT firmware.setup a Static ip. Port forwarded. Dmz. Ive done it ALL. I even got my internet company to boost my speeds for $15 a month. I did a speed test yesterday and the results were ASTOUNDING.....
Ping 10ms down 55mbps up 8.
My gameplay is always the same, i get kicked from time to time still. Lag. Go from 4 bar to 1 spikes. Connect by matchmaking even tho its best like i am on any. And so on......
Like i said its LAG OPS2. Thats just the reality. WHY Treyarch?! WHY!? Is there something i am missing. Battlefield has dedicated servers. Minecraft allows people to sell their internet as client based servers. My internet is set up for this. Tell me how i can still experience issues like i am wireless on a g router at times?? I know most ppl arent even close to what setup i have and 0 latency issues

Do you have to pay for that? I usually get like 35 ping which seems little to high.

No
35 ping over what distance ? I get 40-55ping across the EU which is average and fine. Also note that I gave a range of pings which was tested over a couple of months with different servers which I could play with.

Yea they gave me what they call optimum boost. It cost $15 a month extra but it was supposed to triple my speeds. I used speedtest.com my ping is always around 10ms which to me is really good. Down speeds at 30-50mbps up 5-8 mbps. All of which are the fastest in my area. Dont get me wrong its still very playable i just figured with all i have done it would be almost 100% latency free. Most people if they had my connection would have no problems as it is very very good. I just felt after dd-wrt ing my router i could almost configure my internet to be that guy people thought was a hacker due to the fact my lag comp would be almost non existant. Im just not sure i have the dmz. Static ip. Port forward. Qos. Priority settings working correctly or if they all should be setup together at once like i have them. There are so many tutorials but all say and show different ways of configuring and they just choose one not all at once. Any ideas

May not be able to pick what profile you run on due to not being on ADSL.
Sort of sucks my only other tip is to wire your connection and play when it busy.

Cake is a lie
Unless you're getting matched with laggy people or party up with laggy people I have no clue why that would happen to you if your internet is that good.

Is this an occasional thing(like most of us face) or do you literally lag all the time? If your NAT is OPEN you should be fine and honestly with your connection you should be pulling host. Although, for some they do worse as host but it's technically an advantage.

Thats exactly whats happening to me. Im pulling host like 80-90% of the time. For me host is a disadvantage even tho i hear for others its an advantage. Sounds stupid, makes no sense. Ive been messing around with the dd-wrt flash i did on my router, changing qos/port f. Dmz. Mac/static ip priority. I think ive found a way to never pull host by lowering my console speed dedication/ priority im not pulling host and its lag comping me over them in the way it always did me intead of the other way around.
