A Inofficial statement from the cod developers says, they dont wanna do a ww2 game, because they doesnt sold as much games as with the feature *hit.

So they just wanna do money.

Btw. Between 1998 and 2007 wasnt as much players online as today, so they couldnt sell more then with the feature sh*t as with the ww2 stuff
