why dose it have to be permanent? its not like you happen to get in a game with them everyday. and if you do then that sucks. i dont see any problems with muting them for that time. i think your just being lazy.

They have this on Modern Warfare 2. If you didn't notice, you can mute someone and even if you leave the lobby then re-join that person will still be muted, lol that's how I figure out if I just re-joined the same game =P.

I don't know if that person stays muted after you sign-off of shut your PS3/XBOX off but you don't really join the same game as someone you previously met unless you're invited, it's not really likely with all of the people online =P.

No because if your on their team and mute then and after the game ends they are unmuted.
