It appears that FirstPlay on Playstation 3 will have a preview of Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer tomorrow (Wednesday).
Another day and we still wait to hear more news on Black Ops after a very slow and quiet period. But wait, could it be true? Are Treyarch finally ready to talk about Black Ops Multiplayer?
Multiplayer is what has made Call of Duty extremely popular and playable for many years. Single Player and co-op might be great but it's Multiplayer that people want to hear about. After all, the majority of people will base their final opinions about the game on how good they think Multiplayer is.
FirstPlay is a reliable source and is a interactive show on Playstation 3 which features reviews, previews and more. A listing for their Episode 17 show ยป mentions that they have a preview for Black Ops Multiplayer, this show arrives tomorrow (Wednesday).
Therefore, it appears that we will finally hear about the eagerly anticipated Multiplayer mode! Will we also get a trailer? Josh Olin apparently mentioned a month ago that there will probably be a new trailer in about a month. It's a possibility that we could get a trailer today and previews tomorrow, although this is only speculation. However, it is worth noting that the first Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer trailer arrived exactly a year ago today.
There has also been a lot of beta rumors flying around. The latest is that the beta will arrive 12th August, but this is flagged as a rumor for a reason. A beta is being considered by Treyarch but there has not been a official confirmation regarding one.
