I think in Black Ops there should be an option where if everyone votes to skip the intermission the game will skip intermission and begin countdown. Or just not make intermissions 60 seconds long. It only takes about 15 seconds to look at your new stuff and put it on. What do you guys think?

I think its fine the way it is. There is Team Deathmatch Express which has a quicker intermission but only for that mode. The idea of voting isn't bad, but i could guarentee there would always be at least one person who wouldnt vote just to waste time. Unless there was a system where if over half the players voted the 8 second countdown would begin no matter what, abit like the map skipping system. BUT, that sort of runs the risk of players backing out because they havent had enough time to set up a class or whatever they need to do before the game starts, which leaves the fact having to wait for new players to join and renders the system pretty useless.

I really don't mind the 55 seconds and there is an express match soo ehhh it's a toss up. What I do hate is after waiting the 55 seconds it gets down to 5 seconds then a few people leave and boom you get the famous LOBBY CLOSED code that my friend is a waist of time! /facepalm

I don't like tdm that much though, and I don't mind it either, I think it would just be better with 15-30 sec intermission.

Yeah 15-30 sounds fine also, specially now with how the MW2 lobby's are all you hear during those 55 seconds is "your garbage" or "your RACIST SLUR" blah, blah make it short and sweet that way no-one has time to start the flaming. :bro:

I think it's fine. I just get sick when it has the intermission, then for some reason has another intermission. I think your idea of voting is great.

Red Dead Redemption has a way to skip it. It brings it to a 10 second count down. Black Ops should have that.

I think they should make an express mode for all game modes so that people who do not want to wait a long time between each game can play say domination express mode and there is only like 10-15 second intermissions, that way you have the choice if you want quick games or time in between matches to setup your classes and what not.
