If you stop at 0:33 you can see that he gets 60 xp from that assist, instead of the usual 20 xp. So they brought back the feature from World At War that makes it so you get more XP for an assist if you damage the enemy more!

ya ive gotten a 20xp assist in TDM

My bad. I accidentally said the assist amount for TDM was 40 xp, but it actually is 20xp.

And no, you always get the same amount for an assist! Except when there is a promotion where they double the xp.
