Alright. As confirmed in an image displaying the camo's for CoD BO, there will be a minimum of 14 prestiges in Black ops. It is unknown yet whether this will be the maximum amount or whether there will be more

Edit: 10/14: Alright about 10 of you seem to be locked on to the idea that there are going to be 5 prestiges. Wheres the proof? you think because you watched one video about it that it means its true? I have even seen people saying "I dont have time to find proof" which most likely means there isnt any. Think before you post. Don't call this fake when it has atleast 1% of proof when you in fact have 0%.
If anyone does have proof that there will be 5 prestiges please post ASAP

Or maybe Prestige means that you have Prestiged once, and need to get to level 14. When you go to the barracks to prestige, it just tells you that you are going to enter prestige, with no numerical value. It does not ask, do you want to advance to Prestige Level 10, if you are 9th prestige.

It def could be. We won't know until the game comes out. The only reason that I would even think that there are going to be more than 10 prestiges is because of how leveling up in BO is so much different than in previous CoD games

I think Olin said somewhere that it will be similar to W@W (Took me forever to get 65 in that game). If there's a lot of prestiges, I'm not going to bother trying to get max level, I'm going to find one which has the coolest symbol, and stay there.

It means first prestige level 14. THERE ARE 5 PRESTIGES!

Yeah. W@W was good cuz it wasnt easy to level up in. Though they did give you the MP40 pretty much from the start :/. I want it to be a challenge leveling up though. I don't wanna get to X prestige in a few months and than get bored (cough *MW2* cough)

I know man. Like Mw2, UMP and the Scar in the first 10 levels. It took about 3 weeks a prestige in Mw2. I didn't really like the MP40 in W@W, I was more of a Rifle guy. I didn't like the whole "Never ADS, and Spray Happily" thing that the MP40 had goin.' My main gun was a silenced Gewerwh-43, however you spell it, with Bandolier, Sleight of Hand, and Deep Impact, until I met my babe, the Bayonet Kar-98k.

Its just not 14 and if not 5 then its 10
