I know we are all excited about the new game release of the new Call Of Duty. Black Ops.

I think that honestly, because that this game has such a huge anticipation, it is not going to be as great as everyone thinks.

This has really only happened with recent games because of the large audiences that have been attracted towards first person shooter games.

I reckon that the same thing that happened with Modern Warefare 2 will happen again with this game.
Although it will happen even faster.

People will get into it, play the holy bagebus out of the game....
And then they will find things that they don't like. They will build on it until everyone knows it.

Then the Youtube videos start. Rants will start up. And everyone with a keyboard will start crying...

So honestly thats all I think is going to happen with this game.

Being talked up to much, will be hated.

I think your correct in your assumptions, I only say this because when I watch the multi-player game footage I just get resounding memories of MW2 instead of W@W or COD4. Fortunately I am not only looking forward to MP, my main reason for getting this game will be zombies. Now if they **** up the zombies I will throw the biggest shit fit anyone has ever seen, cause when you have something good you don't **** it up..... that was directed towards YOU infinity ward!

well MW2 expectations were very high :/ but i havent been expecting loads from blackops like i did with MW2 im just hoping that noobtubing is fixed and that killstreaks and guns are balanced if tht happens ill be a very happy man :y:

Yes. There are alot more features in Black Ops than in Mw2 like more Game Modes More Customisation and most of all Zombies!

Hopefully, It won't be like WaW. I had my expectations up way too high for that game and when I got it. It was a waste of money. So, I'm hopeing that Black Ops will be TITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTIES.

I think the expecatations for some people are really high now that the game is getting leaked and is looking like this is going to be an amazing game b/c this time last year all i was saying is how Mw2 looked a camp fest and wasn't going to be a game i enjoyed playing so hopefully im right when i say i Black ops should be the Cod we have been waiting for since MW

My expectations are not that high i'm looking for weapon, perks and killstreak balance that's it. As for Zombies goes, that's just icing on the cake.

Here's the way the world works.
The more popular and more people that like something, more people that don't like it arises too.
Hype was not the downfall of MW2. It was generally a bad game. I admit it could be the case with Black Ops but i've never had so much faith in a game since the release of RE4, which turned out to have flaws but was an excellent game.

Black Ops could potentially be a great game, and hype will not ruin it, nor will overplaying it. A good game has a good ability to stay good even when thrashed, and even then people can take a break from it.

In my opinion this game could potentially be the best COD, but it's just up to the way the community treat it, as all MW2 noobs, hackers and quick scopers will obviously move up to Black Ops. Lets hope they don't ruin the game for the people who want to enjoy it.
