I don't like talking about the Snipers rifles and what we are going to do or not do. You see, for every reasonable person wishing to engage in a civil dialog, I get an earful from dozens or hundreds more who are unbelievable rude.

(1) We are evaluating the damage and hit box multipliers. Especially, if the weapon is suppressed.
(2) We are moving what many of you refer to as the "sniper rifle patch" into tunables we can adjust easier so that we can do some real-time experimentation

Anything we do is going to be carefully deliberated. Personally, I'm eager to get onto the business of "live tuning" the game, but not if it pushes the pendulum too far in a direction we don't want the game to go.

It will come. But, it will come really slowly (for many of you).

Finally, the sniper tuning conversation starts and stops with you. Act responsible. Get updates and a conversation. Some self-policing will go a long way. Act immature, get nothing.

The bolded part does not make any sense.

He states that people were not happy with it(as in it was too hard to QS for the average player) so they went and made it harder to do so. Very contradicting.

Im pretty happy the way it is now. Only complaint I had with the snipers was that putting a surpressor on it was like loading nerf darts into the gun. Otherwise I am happy with it the way it is.

Tweaked isn't really good enough, I think everyone just wants it back. They didn't just ruin quickscoping they ****ed sniping altogether :cry:

I mean seriously I cannot snipe no matter what. Half the time its hitmarkers or the bullet just plan misses when your holding your breath and are right on the damn target. Oh, wait until you get to the snipers in sharpshooter!

avtivision gave them a deadline.. rember infinity ward get 2 years to make a game treyarch get 1

treyarch use infinity wars models ect meaning they have to wait then base the game around those models

yeh black ops is bull shit for snipers i can only think of 2 maps where snipeing has a small time worth

Are you using the L96? it doesn't have many hitmarkers!

Also... so are they making it more difficult, or easier? I already think that Quickscoping is incredibly easy at the moment! Sure it's not "super fast", but it's quick enough. If they make it harder... then I guess that's okay..
