(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If a debug .self is used with a BM, it can be edited freely without any hassle of decryption.

Here are some useful hex locations in t5mp_ps3f.self:

6A 75 6D 70 5F 68 65 69 67 68 74 00 00 00 00 00

70 65 72 6B 5F 6B 69 6C 6C 73 74 72 65 61 6B 52

73 63 72 5F 78 70 73 63 61 6C 65 00 00 00 00 00

65 43 6F 64 50 6F 69 6E 74 73 00 00 00 00 00 00

Now.. where can we get a debug self for BLUS30591?

SELF editing is what happened with these infamous hacks.

Here is a download of the .SELF: You must login or register to view this content.

i think :carling:

I opened the debug 1.03 with IDA, converted to code and searched for useful hex and text values. When I located the values I wanted to change, I opened up the output file with a hex editor that allowed me to call an address. I located the address and coverted the values with a calc to find the actual address. I got to that point late last night, and havnt had a chance to change and test anything. If you want to give that a try without decompression let me know what you find , or else ill post back later.

I need to look into this at the weekend if I have time :(

It wouldn't if it was debug.. as long as they were edited right.

Hmm very interesting. I have a retail .self file which I did the "Find" command and pasted the hex values into it and found the jump height etc... but who knows maybe he edited a retail .self file.

I got my retail t5mp_ps3f.self file via Open Manager by backing up the BOs disc and then using my FTP server and extracting all the files from the disc, just in case anyone wants a non debug .self file.

Could you upload the .SELF file, i wanna take a crack at this

There's different .SELF files for each version, I think we should check the PSN links, we may find it by the game ID. Do we know why we you couldn't join other games, on the 360 you should be able to with a patched XEX
