I noticed and heard from other that they normally freeze in the loading screen after they join a game that ends in the loading screen and shows a disconnected to host error. I tried backing out to the main menu and entered again and I haven't had such a freeze. Hope it helps you guys and post your own tips.

I have only had problems with freezing during the game. While I'm playing it just freezes up and I have to restart my PS3. But I'm guessing that's from my PS3 overheating.
