In the morning it said, 'lost connection to host' this cant have been due to a connection error and one of the people we were doing it with, there xbox randomly turned off on its own.

Does the xbox have like a sleep mode where if you leave it on too long it automatically turns off?

I think my other friends xbox turned off too, i checked mine at 2am and so that was the latest out of us playing so i think when my mate (the host) xbox turned off due to being no activity for ages,

powercut maybe? or internet router disconnected.

with ps3 u can programm what u want to hav it shut off.

The xbox does have a shutdown mode if its not active for 4 hours or something.

But im not sure if it does it in game.

And maybe it overheated.

Or as someone said the router cut out.
