(Hopefully I can explain this well so people can understand)

Ok heres a little trick me and some friends noticed. By running around the stairs between the catwalks of the war room and the floor connecting the "Juggernog" side and the Elevator side of the room the Thief should not catch you while your other teammates attack him.

Strategy:
1)Start the game normally but remember to knife the zombies the first round maximum money and save ammo. (Remember DO NOT TRADE AWAY YOUR M1911)

2) Be able to get to the second floor(War room) by Round 2 or 3

3) Finish level 3 normally and save up enough money so at least 1 one person can buy the elevator and activate the power and the other 3 can buy stakeout shotguns.

4) Have that person activate the power and return upstairs immediately.

5) Continue on and hopefully the Thief will appear by level 6(This is why I say turn on the power early, If he appears on a higher level he will be more difficult to kill)

6) Now when the music plays and Intercom warns you of the lockdown quickly run up to the catwalks and have 2 players stand on one side of the stairs and 2 on the other side. At this point all players should have their M1911 equipped. The Thief will appear and will run up the stairs. Depending on which side he runs up those two players should start to run up and down the stairs while the other two shall clear the way so the fleeing players can have space to run. When the Theif goes upward on the stairs it should slow him down. The other two players are now able to swap to their shotguns and shoot the thief without the fear of losing thier weapon. In time the theif will fall.

7) In the event that the thief catches one player, make sure that player has his M1911 equipped so he will not lose his shotgun. When the thief steals your pistol you will be teleported to the 3rd floor with him. As soon as that happens follow him keep pumping your shotgun into him.

Repeat step 6 with only 3 players.

The running around the stairs may not work for you all the time but this is a sure way to defeat the Thief so you may keep your weapons and earn a fire sale!

I will post a video tutorial as soon as I can, but if someone would like to test this and post the video here it would be highly appreciated.
