My personal favorite strategy is to box rush, I usually spend the first few rounds knifing and sparing ammo, then use the elevator to progress, this strategy comes in handy in single player and in larger parties, though in larger parties it is highly recommended that people all pitch in to open the doors and elevators. If done correctly and everyone has conserved their money everyone should have at least 3200-4000 by the end of round 5 the person with the most should buy the elevator and take everyone down, from there everyone should purchase an Mp5k leaving most of you with 1400-2200 stay on this floor in pairs camping the stairs watching the lanes, this is crucial in survival in most instances where people camp the windows someone fails to keep their window under control and gets themselves trapped between windows. camp here on this levels till at least round 8 & be sure to have your own personal pet crawler, preferably slow. Now you all should have atleast 3k and should advance down into the next area, the person with the most spending each time, this varies but everyone should pitch in. On the 3rd floor turn on the power and look for the random box(try to get a teddy bear, monkeys, a frost gun, a laser pistol or a LMG), once it is found and everyone has received a weapon take the nearest transporter and try to get back to the 2nd floor turn on all def-cons and kill the crawlers then head on into the def-con room pack a punch any of the previous weapons mentioned, If you don't have one don't waste your money and instead buy Juggernaut. This room is safe for until at least round 18(But you should have made crawlers every two rounds to find the random box to get monkeys they are vital to everyones survival). On round 18 you should have made a crawler and have everyone advance up to the 1st floor and camp the elevator there, this is a good place to camp because they come straight at you and you're already in an escape route if things get to hectic. Continue up here for as long as possible only going else where when there are crawlers and you are looking for the random box or pack-a-punching a weapon.

You don't want the mystery box to stay on that floor, after all if you want to continue visiting it you don't want it on the most DANGEROUS floor.
