(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now that I have reached level 50 (don't plan on going prestige) in black ops, I noticed it had no map that wowed me. All the maps were fairly mediocre, nothing like the excitement and thrill of Favela, or planing and strategy of Afghan, Modern Warfare 2 maps were well planned out. Black ops maps are fairly redundant :derp: ,

What's your take on it?

Also the graphics were fairly sub par

There are a few good maps for snipers, and 3arc tried to incorporate "sniper spots" into all the maps. A few of my favorite maps for sniping are; Jungle, WMD(mostly just in SnD), Array, and Grid(also just in SnD). Plus, maps like firing range (sniper tower), Array (power grid tower), etc. have special spots specifically for snipers (or other long range guns). They didn't completely ruin sniping in the maps for us Winky Winky.

Damn Travis. How can you hate Hanoi! :O
That map is brilliant :p

I'VE GOT JUNGLE FEVER
The maps are just "meh", treyarch lost their touch with this game. I wonder though if WAW was just a fluke because their past CODs were just awful to be quite honest.

Yeah the maps in BlackOps are farly largy, wished they had maps like Favela,HighRise,Terminal or make maps like "Medium Size" (Thats what she said)

Maps are ok, but without WOW factor. To be honest i miss maybe two maps from WAW (can't remember names), every map from Call Of Duty 4, every map from Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and i dont miss any of the maps from Call Of Duty Crap Ops. They are just ok. I think there were only two people making this game. One of them did all the job, when the other one was making coffee and twitting how badass will it be. But they failed. Happy

Yeah MW2 and even W@W maps > BO maps...I do like Array, WMD just because I get Chopper Gunner on it every time pretty much. One thing I don't like is I play mostly Ground War and you don't see a lot of the maps there. You never see Villa really.

I'm not huge on Sniping in general but I can't help but feel sorry for snipers since there aren't many good Sniping maps on this game. I almost laugh at people for using Snipers on most levels. But I've got some decent Sniper games probably because people don't expect snipers like they did in MW2

Big maps in black ops don't give off that epic feeling like wasteland or Afghan did in Modern Warfare 2, and I hate the fact people keeping using the phrase if it works don't change it, this is not a fried chicken recipe, its entertainment software, the fact they kept so much the same, shows they put a lack of effort in the game
