FA-MAS RDS use the arrows with dot (any color, green is good)
FLAK JACKET (really helps especially with claymores)
STEADY AIM (the Famas fires a lot of bullets really fast, this perk helps)
NINJA (Really helps when you're spawn trapping) *pro is easy to get*

Here are a few classes that have helped me average an all time kdr of above 2 in tdm.

1. The team helper
Gun: AK74u
Attachments: Grip+Rapid Fire
Secondary: Cz75 dual wield
Perks: Hardline, Warlord and Marathon
Notes on this class: Use spy plane and counter spy plane and any other killstreak you want and you'll find yourself winning most of the time. In actual fact you can use your favourite class and just change your first perk to hardline and it'll give you a better chance at winning. I know i hate being spy planed and counter spy planed ALL the TIME.

2. The silent but not so silent class
Gun: Galil
Attachments: Extended mag or dual mags
Secondary: Cz75 dual wield
Perks: Ghost, Sleight of hand and Marathon
Notes on this class: This class is basically a very versatile class you can use it in any map and will help you if you're a slow player or a rusher. You can use any other attachments on this class but i'd recommend against using suppresor for this as you'll be outgunned alot of the times. Maybe its just my style of play i don't know but...you'd probably be better off using guns like aug suppresor instead.

3. The ump45 i like to run but i don't really have commando/ump45 build!
Gun: Ak74u
Attachments: Grip+Rapid fire
Secondary: Cz75 dual wield
Perks: Scavenger Warlord Marathon
Notes on this class: This class just simply pwns anywhere from close range to mid range battles just because the ak74u with rapid fire and grip just gives the enemies so much recoil to deal with. The few downsides of this is the reload timing without sleight of hand pro and the capability to kill at long range.

Hopefully you guys enjoy my classes and if it doesn't help you...try changing the classes around to see what style suits your play.
As a side note, i'd recommend against using red dot sight or anything of that sort since black ops has made every single gun sight reasonably good. You may find yourself getting pwned at first but...trust me eventually you'll understand that red dot sight does not really help at all and is a waste of an attachment choice. You'd benefit much more with extended mags,dual mags or anything other than rds!

Well pretty much any gun with extended mags is awesome

when starting out any perstige or just starting out the game i have found that a certain class worrks better then others. (Until you get AK74u

The MP5k is the best gun to play with until u receive the famas or AK74u.
The first class is
MP5K with extended mags
Frag grenade any tactical grenades. claymores.
first perk-Hardline or flap jacket depending gamemode
second perk- steady aim- this will help new players out a lot and the MP5K hip fires extremely
third perk- marathon because it allows u to be mobile and get away from enemies when your in danger.

Mp5k with extended mags and steady aim is beast u just spray ur ass of and own.. and the other to are good i prefer silenced weapon since they help build up my kill streak

I like using 3 set ups mainly not very different though
AK74u - grip + rapid fire
Python - dual weild
Scavenger Pro
Warlord Pro
Hacker Pro or Marathon Pro

AK47 - Red Dot + Extended Mag
Python - dual weild
Scavenger Pro
Warlord Pro
Hacker Pro or Marathon Pro

Stoner - Red Dot + Extended Mag LOTS of bullet
Python - dual weild
Scavenger Pro
Warlord Pro
Hacker Pro or Marathon Pro

I like warlord because you get double the amount of XP for killing because your completing 2 instead of one challenge, scavenger is just so i never run out of bullets when getting high killstreaks and hacker and marathon are the only ones i like to use for the 3rd perks lol
