5 Tips for Improving K/D, W/L, and leveling up faster

First let me start by apologizing for my lack of activity in the community, so hopefully I'm not completely flamed for this post. This took quite a bit of time and I hope some of my tips can be used by others to improve their game. I was going to do 10, but ended up going into a lot of detail about my rationales, so sorry about the length.

1. Use low killstreaks or team based killstreaks especially if playing with randoms. Killstreaks such as Spy Plane, Counter, and Blackbird will help your team out tremendously. Low killstreaks are also obtained much more often and thus a larger amount of xp is earned than the larger killstreaks. **Note: if playing with a team, the team will do best if there is always a combination of spy plane, counter, and blackbird. Limit the use of chopper gunners and dogs or else you will constantly be fighting with one another to call these killstreaks in.

2. Sensitivity: This is somewhat of a personal preference. The main advantage to a lower sensitivity is better accuracy and the main disadvantage is loss of mobility/loss of ability to turn on people. Players that are considered “Pro” will use sensitivities between 2 and 5. Look at players on Team FeaR and Team EnVyUs. Regardless of how good you are you’re accuracy will improve on a lower sensitivity. The main advantage to a higher sensitivity is better movement and ability to turn on people, while the disadvantage is loss of accuracy. If you are rushing or sniping, it will be best to have a sensitivity in the 7 to 10 range. All this being said I would recommend lowering your sensitivity to as low as possible while remaining comfortable with your movement.

3. Play with a team!!!! This will help you out tremendously in the win/loss aspect of the game and will also be more enjoyable as you can communicate with others. Speaking about communication, this is a must. Make callouts and if you don’t know any that’s okay, you will pick them up with time and by playing with others. Just calling out C Flag Dom or HQ halfway can be extremely helpful to your team. Playing with good players will also improve your k/d because your team will most likely frustrate the opposition and people play less tactically when they are angered or upset. So on a side note, try your best to maintain a good attitude or you will continue making stupid mistakes.

4. Use perks that compliment each other. I know it sounds simple, but some perks simply work best with other perks. Scavenger Pro, Warlord Pro, Tac Mask Pro-This combination allows 3 tactical grenades and 2 lethal grenades and they can be resupplied over and over. Having tac mask pro is a huge advantage with this as it allows one to instantly follow their tactical grenades, shows where the stunned enemy is and allows you to kill enemies with little chance of being injured. Hardline - always start a game with a hardline class as it allows you to reach your killstreaks faster. Scout Pro-most underrated perk in the game. Many people fail to realize what this perk does. It allows you to switch weapons extremely fast, pick up weapons very fast, and basically increases the speed of any player animation (throwing grenades, calling in killstreaks, placing equipment, etc.) This eliminates the need for sleight of hand and allows you to have two primaries. Other good perk combinations, can explain if asked: 1. Flak Jacket Pro, Hardened Pro, Tac Mask Pro 2. Lightweight Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro/Steady Aim Pro, Marathon Pro/Ninja Pro 3. Scavenger Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro/Scout Pro, Hacker Pro/Ninja Pro 4. Ghost Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro, Ninja Pro.

5. Best game modes for leveling up: HQ, Demolition, SnD, Dom, TDM. HQ, tons of xp for holding the HQ and relatively quick games if playing with a good team. Demolition, 15000+ xp a game, if playing with a team that understands spawns. SnD, best with a small party (2 or 3), so you are not constantly fighting for kills. Dom is okay and tdm is good, but I usually only play tdm by myself because it’s much easier to carry a team in tdm, than it is to carry a team in dom or demo. Ground War is also decent if you can get a good connection or have a large party.

This is just tips on how to get PRO Perks.

LightWeight
Melee kills-Just run around knifing or just play normally.
Escape Death-You can usually get this just by playing normally as well.
Offense Medals-The best thing to do here is play domination with a noobtube on ur gun and sit inbetween A and C flags at a point were you can noobtube them as soon as they are capped.

Scavenger
Resupplies-You get this by just playing normally aswell.
Grenade Kills-This can be a pain sometimes, just throw grenades as soon as you spawn and go pick up resupplys and keep tossing
Kill count-It's pretty easy to get 5 kills without dieing 5 times so just play normally with that aswell.

Ghost
Concealed kills-Use spy plane and blackbird.
Destroy Aircraft- The best way for this is to have Sam turret and the strela3 equipped. if your Lower level use the M79 Law and SAM turret.
Destroy Sentry Gun- I know this is a big pain but This just comes while you play and use a tomahawk because if a teammate is closer than you if u hit the sentry gun with a tomahawk it will be destroyed.

Flak Jacket
Protected-Easy enough just throw hacker on and jump in front of claymores .
Demolished-Play Demolition with a tactical insertion (easier than you think).
ThrowBacks- People think this is annoying but in almost every game people use frags so just pick em up and throw em.

Hardline
SharePackages-Use killstreak SAM turret, Carepackage, Sentry Gun.
MultipleKillstreak-Easy enough use spyplane, Counter Spy-plane, and Napalm.
Killstreak-if you think this hard than just camp for it.
Hardened
Penetration kills-Shoot through windows or corners.
Bullets in Aircraft-Have a lightmachine gun class setup with extended mags on any of them and just shoot at carepackage helicopters and attack helicopters and stuff.
Equipment Shot-Way to easy just put on hacker.

Scout
Secondary Kills-I say go around using the CZ with auto on it.
One Shot Kills-Use the L96 or PSG.
Headshots-Easy just aim for the head

Steady Aim
Quick Melee-This could be a pain but just go around knifeing one game and you will end up achieving it.
Sprint Kills-I just run around and hip fire
Hip fire-Same as sprint kills (2birds1stone)

Sleight Of Hand
Aiming Kills-Easy just aim down your sights.
Reload Kills-We are gonna get 2Bird1stone again
Fast Hands Kills- Use the stakeout with grip usually have a 85% hitmarker so just reload and finish them off.

Warlord
Two attachment kills- my honest opinion is use the AK74u with Rapidfire and grip.
Grenade Kills-Play domination you will easily get it.
Grenade Multi Kills- Same as above.

Tactical Mask
Flash,Concussion, nova gas Kills -Easy use scavenger and just make the other team mad

Marathon
26Miles-this will come as you play
First blood- i recommend playing free for all to do this because most spawns are close
Captures-I recommend having a few friends with you for this and have 2 defend flag and 3 defend you.

Ninja
Silenced kills- Best bet is to put a silencer on the Famas.
Backstabs-Use stuns and just go up behind them.
Plants- Go to demolition and use a tactical insertion.

Second Chance
All of the challenges for this comes naturally its not hard either.

Hacker
Destroys- easy enough just shoot through walls at claymores.
Explosive Kills-Use C4 Stun first throw and detonate. best bet is use it on domination.
Near Equipment Kills- I use jammer i believe it has a longer range.

Hint 1: Try Every Weapon and Attachment
At least initially, you’ll get big experience point bonuses for getting a certain number of kills with each weapon in the game. So instead of lingering on one weapon for too long, switch to another weapon when you hit the milestones of 25 kills, 75 kills and so on. While you’re doing all this, pay attention to which weapons and fighting styles best suit you.

Hint 2: Always Check the Barracks
An extension of the first hint, immediately check the Barracks from the multiplayer menu while your next round is loading. Glance at the weapon and attachment you’re using to see if there’s other gear you could be using to get faster bonus points, then head to Create a Class to switch your loadout. The faster you level up, the more weapons and perks you’ll unlock, which in turn will let you collect early bonus points on the new gear faster.

Hint 3: The Right Perks at the Right Times
Starting out, you’ll definitely want to use “hardline” for all of your weapons. This gives you a killstreak boost that should help you get more kills(doing so gives you even more experience points, plus bonuses). As with weapons and attachments, keep tabs on your other perks, too. You can pick up easy experience points from Scavenger, which lets you resupply off dead foes, and Sleight of Hand, which improves your reload speed. Also, you’ll get “Warlord,” allowing you to equip two attachments at once. See Hint 1.

Hint 4: Forget About Operations
Compared to weapons and equipment-based challenges, the bonuses for winning a certain number of each game type are stingy. Your time is better spent focusing on specific game types that reap the best rewards, which we’ll cover in the next point.

Hint 5: Headquarters for the Noob and Beyond
Headquarters, which requires opposing teams to fight for one periodically moving control point, is the most consistent gametype for picking up experience points. Even if your team loses, and you have a terrible match, you’re still looking at about 2,500 points per game, not counting any bonuses you collect. Win the match and you’ll get 3,500 points or more. What makes Headquarters Pro better than other territory-based game types is that all the players are moving towards one central location. That means less skulking around in crouch mode and more killing, creating a perfect opportunity to work on experience bonuses for different weapons. It’s also pretty fun.

Hint 6: Free-For-All For the Experienced Player
Once you find some favorite weapons, perks and attachments, try playing Free-For-All. You’ll only get 50 points per kill (the same as Headquarters Pro and other objective games, but half the rate of Team Deathmatch), but the tempo is quick, so you’ll have more chances to score. The real kicker, however, is the bonus for winning: Take first place, and you’ll get roughly 7,500 points. No other game type comes close, but if you’re obsessed with stats, beware: If you don’t place first, the match will count as a loss.

Hint 7: Search and Destroy for the Pro
Search and Destroy can be frustrating for newbies, because once you die, you sit out until the next round begins. However, skilled players can milk this game type for 500 XP per kill and 200 XP per assist. Because of the elimination setting, it’s also among the fastest game types to play through, so if you can get six kills per game, you’ll level up faster than you would with Headquarters Pro.

Hint 8: Periodically, Forget All These Hints
Just as money can’t buy you love, a high ranking can’t secure your happiness. Play all the game types, mess around with silly weapons and party up with friends even if they’re dragging you down. Because no one wants to deal with a crazed experience point addict.

This is only for new people playing the game

You get 250 per assist in search :carling:
