To do splitscreen glitch you have to join the persons party i joined his party and at the end of my splitscreen match for some reason it said earnings like wager match i completed a contract and he gained all the CoD points i earned plus his own.

You pretty much said the answer, bottom levels up and gains Cod points differently than the top one. :hitman: (Which indefinably means that it is not a glitch.)
