Now after a month, there are many many hacks out and there are many more to come. Personally, I think they kind of said too much about the game being unhackable because the game clearly is hackable.

This reminds me when the front man of Angels & Airwaves, Tom DeLonge (also from Blink-182 & Box Car Racer), said that the album "We Don't Need To Whisper" was going to be the best album in 25 years. He talks about the album in the picture below. And we all know that it is a great album, but just not the best album in 25 years. The album was pretty ****ing amazing though, just like all of the albums in his other band, Blink-182.

I think when you tell a community you can't do something, that's only going to make them try harder to prove you wrong. In life people like to push the boundaries, so it wasn't a question as to "IF" it was a question as to "WHEN". I will say one thing, Keep in mind W@W took a while to be hacked so maybe that is why they were so cocky.:bye:

I'm pretty sure Treyarch doesn't have issues with Activision that is halting them from fixing the game. Rest assured, they will patch anything and who knows, maybe one day this game will be unbreakable.

Unless that is a picture you personally took, I don't see what it proves. I can easily Photoshop something like that in 15 minutes.

If it is indeed a real hack though... I haven't encountered anyone using it, or talking about it for that matter, so I'm not really worried at this point. If someone has created an aim-bot/wall hack, the chances are it will get shut down pretty quickly once it goes mainstream anyways.

I don't know about 360 I been out of the 360 loop since I got RROD about 2 years now so I can only speak for PS3 and yes it was only like 1 year ago or 1.5 that W@W was hackable on the PS3.:y::y:

While you have a point, I personally have not seen it but I'm sure that picture is legit however it's from a PC version keep in mind this game is mod-able/hackable on the PC they made it that way.:y:

maybe not unhackable, but unlike IW they are actively trying to stop/patch/ban us in a much more effective and efficient manner.

Maybe it was a marketing decision - people were pissed off with all of the Mw2 hacks, so Treyarch provided hope.

I think TreyArch tried to say all the "right things.

They got rid of Noobtubing, Took away the Nuke, have a snitching system for offensive emblems and language and will "punish" hackers. I honestly think they said everything they thought sounded good.

The funny part is, we would have bought Black Ops without them trying to make it out to be some true "fair and balanced" game that would make harcore gamers happy and not be too difficult for casual, new players.
