(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I'm just going to start off by saying I'm not a complete pro at modding .gpds and xbox profiles, I've had an xbox for less than a month and only been modding .gpds and profiles for a week, but I'd definitely say I know alot more than most. Also that I'm not a complete pro at making threads, if someone could teach me how you do that thing where you put like 5 pages on one post for this it would be greatly appreciated to save space and look better. I'll also mention, I have all these programs and have done all this stuff personally, theres no viruses or anything of that nature.

Things needed before doing anything:
1) A USB storage device with I believe at least 768mb(may vary between how much data you have on xbox, I use my phone personally)
2) An xbox, as this is only for xbox.
3) Already existing gamer profile, recommended to have already played black ops to have the correct .GPD already on there.
4) Modio (Download link:You must login or register to view this content.)
5) Xero/Black ops gpd editor (Download link: You must login or register to view this content.)
6) A brain able to follow my instructions :{D

A few things you'll need to know before starting, after having everything ready:

1) The storage device used will have everything wiped off of it after you configure it for use with xbox, so back it up on your computer if you need to.

2) Your gamer profile may stuff up so I recommend saving it multiple times in multiple places once extracted using modio.

3) The black ops gpd editor sometimes loads the .gpds wrong so I've put the gpds in .rars so you extract them then open them in the editor then if you want to start again and mod it you delete it then extract it from the .rar again and open in xero.

4) Button binds are hotfixed on Black Ops to stop binding fast restart and xp mods for private match.

Tutorial:
1) Firstly you'll want to configure your USB storage device for use with an xbox(remember that when you do this everything is deleted so back stuff up on your computer if you need to first off)

To do this you simply plug it in your xbox then go in the my xbox column thing and scroll across over to System Settings, then down to memory, then press A on configure now and click yes to any prompts.

2) Take it out of your xbox and then plug it into your computer, with modio and xero black ops gpd editor already installed as I told you to do before starting :{D.

3)In this step you'll want to mod your .GPD to whatever you want, remembering that button binds and fast restart and the likes of things to make xp lobbies, and mod normal matches will not work.

To do this you'll want your .gpd ofcourse, I'd recommend starting off with your own or use this mostly clean one(only class names modded) I made just then You must login or register to view this content. (Remember to also tell me if it doesn't work, I couldn't get on Black Ops to completely fix everything, just did it manually in xero)

When you've got it open in xero and ready to mod you'll want to change whatever dvars you want, some lists of dvars can be found in these threads made by ngu users:

The dvars I would recommend are changing the set clan name and custom classes firstly, then mess around with the other ones, some cool ones that still work are the g_speed codes(To change movement speed, and the one where you can look through walls when close to them, forgot the name, sorry).

After modding that you'll want to obviously save it.

4) After modding your .GPD ready to put it back on your profile you'll want to open up modio and extract your profile from your USB device and save it in multiple places incase you stuff up, you'll then want to replace the appropriate .GPD with the one you've modded.

5) After thats all done you'll want to save to device, plug you usb device back into your xbox go to system settings, memory and move it back onto your hard drive, then go on Black Ops and enjoy!

Problems and Fixes FAQ:

Q. Whenever I copy my modded profile back to my xbox, the profile is always corrupted, please help me!

A: I hope you've saved your normal profile in multiple places, it really does help! To fix this problem, personally I delete all my .gpds and profiles, then went back to my xbox, recovered my gamertag, then copied the profile to usb, then onto PC then modded the .gpds all over again and remembered to re-hash and re-sign then save to device, then safely ejected the usb and it worked perfectly! If you can't recover your gamertag correctly, you'll want to do it all the same with one of the hopefully multiple copies of your unmodded gamer profiles.

Q: Whenever I use button binds, none of them work online?

A: All button binds were patched for online, to stop xp hacks and ranked private matches. The only way to use these is to take out your internet cable and use these for solo zombies, or splitscreen, which I recommend doing as they are very fun.

A: This tutorial is purely for fun and doesn't hurt anybody, the main button bind hacks are only for offline splitscreens for multiplayer or for zombies, and can also be done in solo zombies due to them being hotfixed for online.

Well thats my guide, this took me over two hours(I think, I have no idea, I have ADHD so everything feels like a long time) to make as I'm dyslexic although I try my hardest not to make spelling mistakes and type grammatically correct, I don't think the youtube links work and I manually modded the .gpd to get rid of mods to make it clean, so it might not work. As I said please tell me if anything doesn't work, and feel free to quote my post if you have any questions or pm me. I may expand this guide and fix any errors if needed at any time, I didn't copy and paste any part of this guide, only things used of other peoples are the youtube videos and the ngu dvar threads, which have credit given and I have thanked their post.
