haha ok. what you want to do is hit x on your third and forth at the same exact time u hit square on your first controller. so like, put your 2 controllers beside u with the x button available with two fingers. then, use your other hand to hover over your friends game, and hit square, then keep hitting x with your other hand. in the mean time, your hitting x with your first controller to start the match.
once you do this, your controllers will be in game with ya
