if anyone with good file data reading of the black ops saves files want too try it then PM what happened if it worked or not or if it fails and this thread was pointless

if you could edit that file you could do anything but its encrypted and i think it is replaced with a fresh patch when you play online

im pretty sure, that the reseting is done externally.
i.e. The server detects you bypassed when you try connect/or tried prestige glitch, then resets your rank on the servers. So your just ****ed. Unless you hack the files on their servers to make it change you to lvl 50.
