So here's a few things that the LAN XP glitch IS good for.

If you want to rank all the way up to 14th prestige without going to main menu at all, you'll be able to get colored clan tags at a lower rank, because when you rank up in LAN and add a clan tag, the clan tag stays when your account is reset to level 1, so in THEORY this is a new (but time consuming) way to get colored clan tags.

This will also work with the playercards from higher prestiges, because they stay as well.

So if anyone REALLY wanted higher prestige playercards, or REALLY wants colored clan tags, give this a shot! Go ahead and flame this thread, because I'm sure nobody wants to spend all that time getting that high ranked in LAN.

How can you prestige in LAN?

Theres the misleading part Ace if you havent noticed in Lan ranking system goes From 1-50 on a Non prestige basis when you do the glitch then when you press start you see your online rank leveling up. And everytime you go to lan it will always restart at level 1 never where you left off.

No, you rank up to 50, go online, prestige, repeat, go back online, prestige again, and your online prestige will continue to go up until you go to main menu, so you can get the prestige-based features such as playercards and colored clan tag.

The only thing really time consuming with this is that you have to keep your PS3 running the whole time. If you really have nothing else to do during the day, it would at the least take 10-15hours to accomplish this.

Yea i know DiJital GoDz released his new way to make it stick with that it would be worth going to 14th prestige in LAN but its kind of risky to do it knowin that if you make one mistake those hours will be useless.. And i miyself am trying to figure out a way to make it stick at first i stood at 4th prestige with LAN and i got the error message that made me kept it but after two tries the same method didnt work. So im trying to find out all reasons as to why it resets you.

With winter break, (2 Weeks off of school) I dont see why you guys are saying you dont gave time :wtf:. I know Im going to def. be doing this/helping perfect it.
