Shoots down killstreaks easily and very fast. If you have it and use it properly, you will most likely win.
I suspect 90% of you don't use it, according to another thread asking for people's classes; you don't. I barely see people in game with it.
Yea, it replaces the pistol. So what? I use the AK47 with Ghost (so no Scavenger), I got the worst aim ever due to my lag, and I still manage to have enough bullets for a Chopper Gunner.
What do Perks have to do with Secondaries?
**Well, the secondaries don't replace the primaries like in MW2. Hence, you don't need them unless you run out of bullets, which you won't (unless your aim is like, 1/30 bullets hit)
The only possible exceptions I can think of are:
1) You want to have fun and use Ballistic Knife
2) You are using a Sniper Rifle
3)You are using an LMG without SOH (ie: You're out of your mind)
Please enlighten me as to how an auto CZ75 puts you in any advantage vs someone with a FAMAS or AK74u.
PS: Please don't say "I use it for CQC when I need to reload I switch to my secondary". If I don't need it, no one does. I run and gun like hell.
PSS: Don't say "Because people in BO are not good teammates." I'm not asking why you think others don't use it, I'm asking the ones that don't use it why they don't use it.

for me knifing a sentry was the easy part. i did get ghost pro in my last prestige by shooting down spy planes but, not everyone uses spy plane.
(i would writye more buty my y button is broken and i'm ygetingy annoed. ._.

There is nothin wrong with being the Strela guy who kills and shoots things down and there is nothing wrong with the guy who can shoot down a Gunship but can't shoot an actual person. And there is certainly nothing wrong with the guy getting his teammates BlackBirds,getting Dogs and beasting the opposition.... Every team needs those type of guys.
But needless to say the better your teammates are, the less likely the enemy team is going to get all these killstreaks.
Believe me, I've seen split screen parties go a combined 4-60 on my team.
So I think people who are that bad hurt the team no matter how many Chopper Gunners they shoot down.

Now THAT's a well put discussion, it got me to think. Earlier I was stating that the fact that you shoot down killlstreaks doesn't mean you can get them yourself.
The point of the thread was for me to find out why some people don't use it, and this post here makes sense. The one before it (yours) didn't. It was like saying "I don't eat apples because I eat oranges"
I didn't mean to offend you, that's why I put "Sorry, but this is irrelevant..."
Again, the thread is not me saying that the Strela is better, even if I am saying it (because it's my opinion). The point of the thread is to know people's opinions as to why they don't use it...and so far, I've only seen this one and the Game Battles ones that make sense (With the exception of "I like using crossbow", but that was implied when I said the thing about the ballistic knife in the OP)

@Spartan.. No problems.
I was a much better teammate on MW2 cuz I primarily used Stopping Power. However I did have a Cold Blooded Stinger Missile class to help shoot down Harriers and Chopper(I gave up on AC130 haha).
I for the life of me didn't understand why people didn't just switch to a Stinger Class on MW2 and keep Nukes from happening.
But people cried that Stopping Power was so strong, so that's what they get. So on Black Ops I lose stopping power as does everyone else but I gain Cold Blooded.
Oddly enough I think people use Scavenger, Hardline or Lightweight much more than Ghost.
Now people complain about Ghost... I remember Blame Trut complaining and acting like most Ghost users are "campers". But on this game it can take 2 kills to keep Spy Planes up. So who wants to die by killstreaks and be seen all game ya know. So now I have bad games where I am 15-13 but others are like -8 cuz they are getting raped by KS all game
Obviously shooting things down helps ur team.
But you gotta admit after grtting that Chopper and Gunship, it's sorta annoying when someone 3-16 on the other team shoots you down... Haha, cock bockers!!!

Yea, I barely see people with it so I don't know what's the issue. Maybe it's the people I play with, but still, as always, over used isn't over powered...
Most COD players are just butthurt that they can't make good classes IMO.
