(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Everyone knows about the confirmation of the new map pack for Black Ops.
To be honest I would rather them release four new zombie maps instead of any multiplayer maps.

But besides that, the new zombie map is called Ascension, the literal meaning is "an upward movement." This leads me to believe that the map is going to be a vertical map, meaning it's going to have many floors. Also it may have some sort of a goal to reach at the top. Either it being the Pack-a-Punch machine or even a good spot to hold off zombies.

When I first heard the name of the new zombie map it made me think of WaW zombies with the writings on the wall; "ASCEND FROM DARKNESS." Maybe this is the last installment of the Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai and Richtofens chapters of zombies? I guess we're just going to have to wait and see what gets leaked in the weeks to come. If anyone has any other speculations on what Ascension will be leave a reply.

nice speculation lol big word but i just found out of it because of lol well maybe it could be the last installment of takeo,nikolai etc or it could be the beggining of something new :p

i googled Ascension zombie map and found this (talking about the campaign) , " The Nazi Scientists in Executive Order were called The Ascension Group and at the intro when the lady is seen calling out the numbers, she first says: "Ascension; ..." and all the numbers for the broadcast".

Ascension Group = Scientists from Nazi-Germany that were captured by the Soviets.
Ascension = Living undead hordes of asses from Nazi-Germany ****ing up Soviets.

Pretty good comparison, eh? :P

You may be right on with this...take into consideration that the portraits on the wall are all of these famous four in later years--well fed and retired looking.
