I think I figured out the cause but I need to reproduce this glitch but Im tired and will post my findings in my thread tomorrow.

when i drive with the RC XD car i can drive in the wall and all houses. When i drive out the map i am under this (only privat match =sucks/funny) xD

Hmm, it looks like lag. My RC-XD flew one time. It wasn't lag though. When I boosted I think it hit an unstable position in the ground, causing it to fly in the air, not hover.
