Post: Does Treyarch Hate People With Skill and Experience When It Comes To Cod?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Honestly, yeah I think they do.

They took out so many things that people who have skill and previous experience with Cod usually use. For starters, they took out the double tap Y (or Triangle for PS3) trick when you're reloading to make it so you aren't reloading anymore. Why take that out? Cod's controls are supposed to feel free and make you feel like you can do anything.

Next, they made listening to other players' footsteps almost impossible, even if you have an expensive gaming headset. If you spend the money to buy an expensive product for gaming, then you should get your money's worth. Also, the almost silent footsteps make Ninja an almost useless perk.

Treyarch also made it so that Challenges don't unlock anything (except pro perks...). This allows people who have no skill whatsoever to buy the best attachments and camo for their gun. If this isn't "noob friendly", then what is? People should have to earn everything. It's not fair that people with real skill can't show off their gun. And if they think "Oh we just want to prevent boosting", that's stupid becuase they already have a really uptight banning system (thanks Treyarch?).

Drop Shotting. We all know dive to prone was made only to help stop drop shotting. Drop shotting is a technique used by many experienced Cod players. Treyarch added dive to prone to stop these people from using their skill because they think it is "unfair". Well. . . if they are trying to make a VIDEO GAME realistic :carling:, it would make sense to keep this in right? It seems that they are trying to make a game more and more realistic. Well in a real war, if I see people, I'm dropping straight to the ground.

Next on my list is. . . quick scoping. Yeah. Quickscoping has been in Call of Duty ever since day one. It is the thing that people could do in private matches for hours and hours. People learned how to quickscope, they practiced, they practiced even more, and they got good enough to use it in a real game. It was great; it was a part of Cod. But. . . Treyarch on the other hand thinks it would make new players have a disadvantage (. . . umm all new players have a disadvantage). They took out Sleight of Hand pro for snipers. . . and they should have stopped there and maybe give snipers an exclusive Sleight of Hand Pro perk. They also think people who can't do it (JD_2020) would have a disadvantage. Well. . . to be honest, quickscoping is a skill that builds up over time. Also, quickscopers actually have a disadvantage. If they miss the first shot, they're dead. If they get a hit marker, they're dead. If the other guy has last stand, they're probably dead. Treyarch should leave huge decisions about quickscoping to Infinity Ward, the better developing company of the two.

So overall, Treyarch took many tricks and tactics out of their game used by many people with skill to make the game easier for people who are new to Call of Duty. Now before you guys comment and say "go play a different Cod", well I am. I'm playing Cod4. I only made this thread to stick up for people who have been playing this game for a damn long time (since Cod4 and under). At least Infinity Ward knows it's a video game and not real life. I think it's funny that Treyarch has Nazi Zombies and a guy who was "programmed" in their game, and they are trying to be realistic. Treyarch just doesn't like people who have skill. What do you guys think?

A game is a structured activity, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool. Games are distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and from art, which is more concerned with the expression of ideas. A game can also be distinguished from play which is usually unstructured, and a puzzle which requires a strong mental concentration and is undertaken alone. However, the distinction is not clear-cut, and many games are also considered to be work (such as professional players of spectator sports/games) or art (such as jigsaw puzzles or games involving an artistic layout such as Mahjong, solitaire, or some video games).[citation needed]
Key components of games are goals, rules, challenge, and interaction. Games generally involve mental or physical stimulation, and often both. Many games help develop practical skills, serve as a form of exercise, or otherwise perform an educational, simulational, or psychological role. According to Chris Crawford, the requirement for player interaction puts activities such as jigsaw puzzles and solitaire "games" into the category of puzzles rather than games.[1]
Attested as early as 2600 BC,[2][3] games are a universal part of human experience and present in all cultures. The Royal Game of Ur, Senet, and Mancala are some of the oldest known games.

I put most of the definition, so people who never read it can have a look. So, quickscoping is a way to play this game and is accepted by lots of players. Its just a way to get some FUN, PHYSICAL STIMULATION and 'often both' out of this game.

In Call of Duty:Black Ops, challenges no longer allow the player to unlock weapons, attachments, camouflages, titles, facepaint, emblem layers etc. These are unlocked by reaching a certain rank and purchasing the item. Challenges are still present in the game; however their only purpose is to a) reach the Pro version of perks and b) gain raw XP to help rank up.

Anyway, i play Black Ops (in the meantime i wait for new COD as this one is a epic fail on PS3) and i do achieve challenges, so whats you saying?

Grow up. Do you really report people for drop shotting?
It is a tactical maneuver in which you drop to a crouching position right after you come face to face with an enemey (eg. on blind corners etc.) It helps in that it can throw your enemies aim off. For this reason many people switch to the "Tactical" control layout (can be modified under options) as clicking the right stick (R3) is much easier to do in fast situations then finding the circle button. Its just a way to play. QS and DS are skills you learn by gaining experience and it often takes time to learn. They are skills just like fast aiming, perfectly cooked and thrown at the right angle grenades, aiming mostly heads or chest.

Would you wear a red camo or would you put a yellow smile instead a red dot, or would you wear a flat jacked and run through battlefield in real war? I'm not bitching, i just can find hundreds of thinks you wouldn't do in real war but you still do. Still, its a game. We want no lag and have fun.

Yeah, most things i can tolerate, lots new ideas i do enjoy, but it seems it can not deliver for me mainly because its laggy, glitchy and slow. I feel like i'm running with an elephant on my back :P

I'd said yes, 75% or more of players use the Famas with Flak Jacket and don't aim down their sights.

You can be absolutely atrocious at first person shooters, but all you have to do is just throw on a Famas or AK74U, don't aim, and you'll be right at the top of the leaderboards!
