I have a theory about the bug prestige 15 in Black Ops.
My theory is to decrypt the update 1.05 with the tool : "PS3 PKG decrypter & Extractor By Mathieulh" ( You must login or register to view this content. )
And compare with the 1.02 and change it.

And where do i get 1.02 ?

It doesnt work! if u do something like that, when u start the game, it will ask to update. it s like to upload on ur ps3 the patch 1.02.
I dont know how to explain in english but im shure, it doesnt work xD

There ua no point in this. You could just download a retail 1.02 pkg file and boom u have the update, but there is no point in this either.

1. 3ARC took down the 1.02 severs to stop people bypassing.
2. Anyone who tries this will get reset

As far as I know, with that patch (1.03), the only thing Treyarch did is to not allow you to prestige on CT, so if anyone manages to edit the patch and reenable CT Prestiging, Prestige glitch would be usable again...

Anyways, I think that with the pkg decrypters and those things, it's easier to mod the game...
