my theory is that they stripped downed mw2 and just started from there and added a few things plus bo graphics suck

Nope they made it from WaW, if they used MW2 as a base, claymores would take skill to place.

The only "skill" in placing a claymore would be knowing not to place it out in the open and put in doorways at an angle.

Sounds like you're trying to hint at claymores being "overpowered"...I REALLY hope that's not what you're doing. Besides with

No it's not at all what I'm saying. People were complaining there was no way to see a claymore around a corner without hacker and Treyarch said look for the red laser lines, which appear to be almost invisible. It also seems like it doesn't take as long for it to blow up but maybe that's just me. In MW2 there was a nice click that you could always hear and indicate that you tripped a claymore and maybe you could react and try to dodge the explosion somehow, in Black Ops there is a faint beep tat you may hear.

I personally do not even believe in the term overpowered in Black Ops.

YES FROSTBYTE, EXACTLY. It's impossible to spot Claymores unless you're staring RIGHT at the claymore.
