well i think i found a way to bypass cheat protection.
i rembered a game on ps3 called TF2/The Orange Box. and i wanted to mod it and when you open it up in a editing software the cvars are there you can just input them yourself. but it was cheat protected so when you edited them and save and put the file back into your ps3 and load up the game it has and error and then makes a new file reseting the code.
so i thought if we uses BruteCRC32.exe and open the eboot.bin with it find the checksum and save that bit of code to notepad, then edit the eboot freely and save with the .self then get back to Brute imput the checksum we saved early into the required field then click do it, it makes the file think noting was changed in the game and when we load it, it loads the mods and thinks there was no change

.
can someone try this? i might :hitman:
