you actually have to have internet connection to play split screen. if you disable your internet connection and try to add a controller for offline splitscreen it will ask you to log in to PSN.

Seriously? 3arc is pretty beast. They basically screwed up most of the CoD series, the only thing they managed to do right was Zombies, and now they are putting in Space Monkies..?
