sniping is just a disater. I can have the cross hairs dead on them and still either miss or get hit marker.

Don't use silencer. Silencer is a mistake you get mega hitmarkers mw2 also with silencer. I would suggest extended mags. :y:

They've meant to have tweaked it in patch 1.06

does that mean they made it more powerful or vise versa?

sniper games go in this order COD4 > CODwaw > MW2 > little big planet > hell > COD bo

Headshots with a silencer are 1 shot 1 kill, they added a higher multiplier to sniper headshots a while ago.

I agree snipers are awful in this game, the thing is you need to persevere with them. I have got use to the sniper now and can hit a lot of nice shots. Quickscoping isnt like mw2, you cant just press l1 and shoot, you have to drag scope slightly to compensate for the sway. Not every noob can snipe in this game and so when you see a good sniper you know they have skill, the lag doesnt help though.
