So i see a guy come out and hide behind a dumpster and his head pops out.

So i steady my aim, and then wait like 4 secs for it to steady and line up i shoot and miss...

Seriously thats bs i should have got a kill for that but i didnt cause it missed him by like 6cm.

I went and looked at the game again and as i saw it missed completly of the entire scope and shot a building about 6cms away.

Yes i had to measure it all.

I am never sniping in this game again, in real life you would have got that kill, but you dont in this, instead if fixing snipers they made them WORSE!

It is not perfect, Treyarch will not make it perfect so use what you have. Keep doing it and you will get better.

I'm sure some people maybe can snipe....But Sniping in Black Ops is asking to have a negative score. It really is. When I see someone sniping, I get excited to kill him. You're better off using a Shotgun. The maps are too small compared to previous COD games and you get hitmarkers galore. The G11 is better at Sniping WITHOUT scopes than trying to snipe. It's pointless. I feel bad for snipers though. But honestly when I see I was killed by a sniper I get one of those, "God bless em" thoughts in my head haha.

Well, if you go back and rewatch it on thatre mode theres a little lag just like there is on game winning killcams so that might of shown your shot being more off then it was.

And i rarly ever snipe in black ops and never on respawn game modes. I am an above average sniper and have always sniped, but on black ops it feels like a chore to snipe. Sniping will always be "dodgy" on black ops and no matter how many times they repatch it, it will never be as good as it was in any other CoD.

I gotta say what annoys me even more is when you scope in and you miss because you havent looked down your scope long enough. I mean if the crosshairs are on the person it should hit them end of story.

This pissed me off soooo much the sniping is so shit compared to ALL the other cods

Hit detection is a bit off am not going to lie still have walls around certain objects

I found you need to use your side arm if you want a good score , also the best players i seen sniping are the ones who do.
And have a good game connection.

Yeah, when i get a good game with Sniper Rifle, then i go to theatre and enjoy watching it in slow motion, but guess what, more than half of my QS or HS are aimed off target haha.
This is why sniping in Black Ops is no longer fun as it used to be. Its all up to LUCK now. Anyway, there is a DLC coming, how can they give me a DLC if i can't fully enjoy this game?
