For those who don't:
1] Melee [R3]
2] Equipment [R2]
3] Switch Weapons [Triangle]
In Black Ops, this can still be accomplished if you are using the pro version of the perk "Scout".
Using that same technique, you can still melee cancel as long as your lethal equipment is:
Tomahawk

This was in mw2 too and i used it alot to break windows ha but i guess you tought of it for black ops congratz man
