Find security settings (may be in setup mine was) on it. Change encryption to WPA and enter the new password on the ps3. check your connection.

That will change the password encryption used on your wifi.
It will do nothing for nat type.
To get it open you will have to either manually forward the necessary ports or put your ps3 in a DMZ.

I cant log in and im using my corrent router's password and username /facepalm

I had to go to my pc which is wired into it and change the pw to get access to it on my laptop.

This method worked for me though, I wouldn't post if it didn't. I was bored so I thought I would change the security lol
