From what I have seen, I dont think ur banned. If u get a temporary ban it will say how long ur ban is for, or if its a ps3 ban it says something like "this console has been permanently banned from the black ops server". I get the same error sometimes, my friend has error code hell with his ps3. I suggest contacting sony or activision - not sure which tho! Lastly, do u have any connection problems on any other games? could just simply be ur ps3 but i cant say 4 sure. Keep trying coz like i said, if ur banned - it will tell you on the screen

Man ur hacked account is banned!!! And if u keep on trying to log in and go online with that account you will get ur ps3 a console ban.. That means no more playing black ops on that ps3 with any of ur legit accounts too.. My advice, delete that account!! How do I know this?? Because I had 2 accounts banned with that same message, and on both of my ps3's that I went online or tried to connect online with those banned accounts... I got my ps3's banned from playing black ops online too..

well i called activision they said its not banned because if it was banned it would of said it in my screen they said they going to try fixing this problem for me

your not banned, i had that problem a few weeks ago. a way to solve it is back up all your gamesaves and do a quick format on your hdd it worked for me as i was able to play zombies online and just not able to access black ops server. trust me this works
