DON'T lol. Once you reach round 11, its basically useless. If you buy it before that round its a 1 hit kill. In round 12, its 2-3 hit kill then 13 its 3-4 and so on, its not really worth it. It can be useful but its 3000 points for a weapon that's really only good till round 11. If you're wondering where it is, its by the rocket in the back right when you're going to it. A cool thing about the weapon though is you recover somewhat quicker from the lunge compared to the reg. knife and your character flips the sickle as a trick when you knife a zombie, it looks pretty cool.

the SICKLE is like the bowie knife and i always buy the bowie knife to finish off crawlers and to get those 130 points

I buy the bowie knife for the nova-gas-crawlers, not neccessarily for the zombies. Is there anything like the nova-gas-crawlers in Ascension? If so, I will probably be buying the sickle. If not, I'll probably be buying it anyways

How does it become useless? You can attack it to the Ballistic Knife for ridiculously fast knifing. It's good for the Space Monkeys and when you upgrade the Ballistic Knife w/ Sickle it's a one hit kill till round 13.

Plus, you only need to kill around 20 Zombies to pay it off. In the long run it is actually beneficial.

Especially if you have a shotgun or raygun around round 20, if you don't kill a zombie first shot you can knife 'em once or twice and kill them

It's really benificial especially since you only need juggernog to be successful with it
