2. For everyone who thought Sony has no idea you have a CFW, you're MAC Address is unique to others.
3. If you get console banned, it is issued from Sony, not Treyarc. Treyarc (Im guessing) contacts Sony that you are running scripted code to hack Black Ops in order to get a console banned issued n your ps3 for any third game.
4. You can be unbanned. Mods have mentioned it.
5. Being console banned has nothing to do with your PSN. On my ps3, I have five users. They are my main acc, my brothers, gameshare acc, a hacked account, and my Family one. A mod said no bans are issued on me and my brothers (They asked because I gave them some made-up story including my brother) PSN accounts, but my PS3 gave out a unique MAC Address. It is still unique even if you updated to OFW 3.56.
7. If you are going to play innocent like me and post a "Why was I banned?" thread, do not use ANY names assosciated with your NGU or other hacking forum names. They simply look up your psn f you give it to them in Google, and BOOM! There are tons of threads about hacking made by you.
8. Lastly, The CoD forums members are complete idiots. Some questions I got were "What is a jalbreak?" and another answer was "OMG Im meeting a hacker!!!" & "You cheated. ZOMG CONSOLE BAN FOR J00." These really ticked me off, and I am hoping you guys can bypass it.

first of all your console ban is not given by sony it is given by treyarch. why the hell would sony ban you from blackops? its treyarch that bans you. and its your ps3 that gets console banned, which is why its called a 'console' ban. it has nothing to do with your psn accounts they still work fine on any other ps3 just not your banned one

Yeah... if you're console banned from only Black Ops, it's issued by Treyarch. If your entire console is banned from accessing playstation network, it was issued by Sony.

You're correct. Console banned means your console itself is banned. So if you get another PS3, the clean accounts should work fine on PS3...This is common sense but I realize for some it's not.
