I have tried unplugging my router and xbox and resigning onto xbl and but nothing helps. My friends nat typeis moderate and they can join each others. My connection is good because i had a ps3 and i played fine with no lags or anything sum1 plz help me!!1

Is this just a recent problem, like this weekend? It may be the strain on the servers due to many people playing because of double XP.

When I was having connection problems, resetting my router worked and I could connect straight away.

Climbing up the ladder
I have no problem at all. I was last night though. I think their servers were messing up because it said that the black ops servers were unavailable.

Yeah, I unplug the power cord out of the back and leave it out for about a min.

Don't know why but this fixes connection problems for me.

I'm sorry I can't give you anymore info on this.
