Just when you thought Black Ops couldn’t bring in more dough, Activision went and announced that their week-old release of Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC set a new Xbox LIVE record with more than 1.4 million downloads in the first 24 hours of release.

The new record was a 25% increase from Modern Warfare 2′s Stimulus Package, which was last year’s DLC sucker punch.

Expect the record-breaking map pack to settle in on the PS3 on March 3rd and on the PC later in the month.

Thats a lot of money!
If they would of released it for ps3 and pc at the same time it would of been over 2million (In my opinion)
I got to admit they did a great job on the new maps and the new zombies

When it comes down to it sadly 50k less people buying their maps and playing their game is a drop of water in the ocean known as Activision.

This has nothing to do about the console bans. Are you guys still honestly pissed about it? Move on already. As for the thread topic it is no surprise that the map packs would do well. And most likely MW3 Map packs will surpass Black ops Map packs figures.
