call of duty game devlopers and designers instead of making new games like black ops/mw2 should stick 2 basics likes cod 3 and 4
in call of duty 3 was probaly 1 of the most fun games i ever played and cant even think of a time i raged but in black ops i rage 1 in 3 games (so do alot of others)
if game devlopers can get the basics of a great call of duty game again cod will be the best series again
such as driving the motorbikes/ and tanks
only adjustment is need way better graphics
plz tell me your opinions:hitman

People always have nostalgic feelings about games though. People will always love the new game that comes out, then after a month they will say it sucks and miss the old games.
COD4 was a very good game. If they took that game and added new maps, new killstreaks and new weapons it would be great. The problem with games is when PEOPLE get their hands on them.
MW2 for instance to me is the best COD game. But what keeps it from realizing that potential is people abusing:
Tac Insertions
Commando Kniving(which isn't a deal breaker in my opinion)
Hacking it to pieces now
And worst of all One Man Army +Danger Close + Noob tubes.
MW2 the game itself was great. Maps that were good for sniping, rushing, hell camping, whatever. Good perks, good weapons. But when people start abusing things is when games get bad. We blame devs way too much for things. I know this from sports games.
Games like NBA 2K9-10 and Madden 10-11 were beast games. But people don't realize ONLINE GAMING ISN'T FOR EVERYONE. On NBA games people will only pick Lakers, Heat, Magic, Celtics. People will only pick the best teams/weapons/perks and find out ways to exploit things. People will do whatever it takes to win or get advantages. When all these people here were hugging Treyarch's nuts back in October, I told them Treyarch won't save you. People abusing games is the issue. Back in the COD4 days the forum and youtube communities weren't as big so there was less hacks and exploits for people to abuse. And less places for us to complain about shit like we can now. I mean this site has had over 100 ban related threads where people just rant and call Treyarch gay. Back in the COD4 days if you were banned, you'd just be bitching on Myspace lol.
That is the problem, not the games itself. It's easy to look back on COD4 not necessarily because it was simpler, but because it was less shit for people to abuse.
If MW2 didn't have Noobtubes, and Tac Insertion abuse, I think it would be better than even COD4.

That is one of the most intelligent posts I have seen it awhile. I couldn't have said it better myself, you are 100% correct.
But I honestly do love CoD4 over MW2 or Black Ops anyday. Maps are better, game flow is better, I just love almost everything about it. And the people that still play it are either really good, or are really bad.
So it's nice to rape face, but have a real challenge sometimes too :y:
