Another recent excuse that I've been hearing alot recently, is using the excuse tryhard,can someone explain to me how the hell this is an excuse? The point of the game is to try hard so how is that an excuse, Earlier today I saw a kid who was complaining about me using a M14, he told that I was a M14 noob, and the next SnD match he used it and I raped him. He told me that I was a try-hard, now, WTF? He is either a hypocrite, or, I don't understand what is a try-hard. Opinions on whether or not it is a valid excuse? Because I've heard it from a variety of players, from 1st-15th prestige, both old and young players.

It's just something else people complain about when they get pissed. No it's not valid because the reason they are complaining is because they are the ones trying hard but failing.

All that anyone wants is reassurance that they don't suck at the game and that they didn't just die because they suck, they died because you suck. It makes no sense but it's the truth, everyone's the best player and everyone else is a noob/camper/try hard/many other lame excuses, the only thing you won't hear is "Wow - this guy is good". It makes them feel better I suppose :embarrassed:

This is no-where near the "latest excuse". Tryhard has been a phrase since CoD4 and to be honest "tryhards" will be using other "noob" tactics and guns. Tryhards really originated when gamebattles took off and people were playing pub matches as if they were GB's.

It's just another excuse for dying, and heck we all use excuses from time to time.

In all honesty no, although it's a word I love using when I get frustrated haha :p

I hate people that play the game with the intention to own everyone in their path. I personally don't go tryhard when i do try but I mostly just screw around with my friends in search. I play this game for FUN and that's what I enjoy about it. I don't like people that go into every match pretending that it's a GB and their life depends on whether they maintain their 7 k/d...

I just love going on my CP account with my clan and just messing around doing things like LAGx. We have fun. One of my friends got on a 10 killstreak, one away from dogs, and a blow him up with the red barrel on Jungle. He didn't care. He was laughing his ass off for minutes.

If you aren't trying to win, then what's the point of playing the game?
Yes, to have fun. But usually "try hards" like winning.
