(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok guys I managed to decrypt the new F.S. DLC and found one intersting thing the pkg itself is encrypted but the files within it are not I am running some tests now to see if I can get the maps to play provided they are in the right places. I will be updating as I find more info. If there is anyone that would like to help please give your two cents.

Who’s Jim Erased?
PKG is encrypted and the files are not... Isn't it always been like that?

If I recall correctly, someone was speculating/testing getting DLC/Custom maps and swapping them with the built-in Bonus maps.

Is that what you're trying to achieve?

Pretty much, but after it's installed you can use FTP and view all the installed files on the PS3 and copy them to USB for further inspection.

Error… Cat invasion!
Or just search PSP PS3 PKG Extractor in Google and that program can extract files inside a retail pkg. Source: it works for me on MW2 patches

Decrypting PKG? It's signed.

signed dosent matter anymore we had the keys for the 1.07 pkg less than 3 hours after its release. signed dosent matter when you have the keys/SDK you can decrypt and encrypt signed pkgs. The point here is to more of less force the map pack in as on disc content not throught the normal means of add ons.

Furthermore there is one problem I do notice. There should be a pointer file somewhere. like an eboot to tell the game where to look for the DLC content and that i can not find also there should be a .riff file containing a small string of encrypted text I don not have.

You obviously dont know but secretly, I'm a corporate kleptomaniac I cant help it, I see a corporation and all I can think of is stealing from them. I think it has something to do with stationary or rubber stamps I dunno, It's kinda like that time when lil wayne was asked a question, and he said, "it never rains in southern California, Oh thats why people dont be walkin around with umbrellas. No rain boots neither." This is my lil' wayne moment.
