They will do anything for that 9/11 killstreak, just so they can fianlly fell good about themselves. :black: Also, if they die by you a lot, after the game or round, they will just start talking shit to you or even your whole team for example, "OH your crap all you do is camp just go throw your game out." They try so hard that when they die they basically flip out. Usually they don't have mics, but seeing that I have a message in my inbox titled, "U Fuking Suk1," gives me an indication of either a kid, or a try hard. Not all kids are annoying. Most I talk to in Challenge lobbies on Mw2 are pretty laid back, and they aren't annoying little ones. So don't take offense young ones. :gluk:

I know most of you are either like, "wow this guys a fuking faggggggg brah," or "well, this has been happening since CoD4." No, there is just something about Black Ops that really brought in the kids and the tryhards. Maybe how easy it is? I don't know, but I know the population of 9-14 year olds has increased. I think you generalize the 9-14 year olds too much, I know quite a few people between 9-14 who don't whine like a little b*tch, they are actually pretty calm about these types of things. But I do agree with the fact that the 'try-hard' population has increased.

I hate try hards. I find when I kill them I get hate messages of them threatening to hack my account lol

YEa not all kids are bad, some are cool, but there are more of them that just say stupid stuff and they try to act cool over Xbox LIVE or PSN. :p

well, i dont hate try hards, the point of trying to do good in the game...is kind of the point. having a bunch of players shooting you half assed is lame, id rather get beaten by a team playing hard and trying to exert some skill, than win against a team who didnt give a F***. now i will say, people messaging you after wards is one of those things where it could be really ignorant, or they message you to **** off cuz you camped the whole match and have no nutts(not you, but in general).

No, I haven't noticed this. You know why? I run with a 3-5-8 or 3-5-7 setup with hacker. My teams always have a spy plane up and some people even have counter spy planes if I am lucky. Hacker is close to a free uav because it tells you where the other team is camping.

Try hard = People who want to win the game. Its the stupidest thing in the world to call someone who uses a famas or ak74 a try hard because they want to have fun and win with guns that guarantee kills. If you had a choice of using a sword or a gun in a fight, what would you use? If you want to use some underpowered gun then go ahead, no one cares. I play to win because that is how I have fun. I like going 30-2 and 30-1 because i am constantly killing. Are you that bad that you keep getting killed by them? Little kids don't have patience and hence don't like to camp smart and do not get high kill streaks.

People who say they hate try hards are the people who need an excuse because they lost.

I think that as people get older they eventually stop playing video games as much and move on to other things, at the same time little kiddies are just entering the gaming scene.
Increase in kids + Decrease in older players = more squeakers

Also, I don't really get what's wrong with "try-hards". I don't really understand those idiots that run around doing nothing, that just doesn't seem fun. I realize a try-hard tries really hard, but still, why complain? Why not just try hard yourself? Its really just a play style... Also, just because someone is better than you, or does really well, doesn't make them a try-hard.
