Hey how's it going NGU? Didn't see a guide on the forums for achievements or trophies to I felt like making my own. So without further ado, I present the Achievement/Trophy Guide for Black Ops!

Guys, not completely finished yet... If you could please help me out and leave suggestions, that would be great!

There is a total of 1,000G to be earned on the Xbox 360 for Black Ops.

1. Death to Dictators (15G) – Take down Castro with a headshot in mission 1.


2. Sacrifice (10G) - Ensure your squad escapes safely from Cuba.

3. Vehicular Slaughter (25G) – Destroy all enemies on vehicles during the prison break in mission 2.

4. Slingshot Kid (15G) – Destroy the 3 targets with the slingshot in 3 shots during the escape from Vorkuta. If you miss one, press start and save and quit. Then resume the game from the Campaign button and try again.

5. Give Me Liberty, Or Give Me Death (10G) – Escape Vorkuta.
Basically just finish the level.

6. VIP (10G) – Receive orders from Lancer.

8. Tough Economy (15G) – Use no more than 6 TOW guided missiles to destroy the tanks in the defense of Khe Sanh. As before, if you miss, you can either kill yourself or save & quit then resume.

9. Looks Don’t Count (10G) – Break the siege in the battle of Khe Sanh.

10. Raining Pain (15G) – Rack up a body count of 20 NVA using air support in Hue City. You can get this in mission 6 (The Defector). When you take the radio off the guy on the ground, simply keep calling attacks on all the NVA. There are more then enough enemies so just keep calling it in.

11. The Dragon Within (15G) - Kill 10 NVA with Dragon’s Breath rounds.

You're given a Spas-12 with Dragon's Breath rounds and there are way more than enough NVA, so just kill them all as you see them. Very easy to do.

12. SOG Rules (10G) - Retrieve the dossier and the defector from Hue City.

13. Heavy Hand (15G) – Use the Grim Reaper to destroy the MG emplacement.

14. Up Close and Personal (15G) – Silently take out 3 VC.

Easily done in the 9th mission (Victor Charlie). It is just basically progression and its hard to mess up. Just come up behind the guys and kill them while they sleep. The 3rd guy is eating but his back is turned to you. Just creep up behind him and melee.

15. Double Trouble (10G) – Use only dual wield weapons to escape Kowloon. You start the mission with them so just play through it only shooting them. NOTHING ELSE!

16. Broken English (10G) – Escape Kowloon.

17. Lord Nelson (25G) – Destroy all targets and structures while making your way up the river in mission 10, Crash Site.

18. Never Get Off the Boat (10G) – Find the Soviet connection in Laos.

19. Pathfinder (50G) – Guide the squad through the Soviet outpost without them getting killed.



20. Mr. Black OP (50G) – Enter the Soviet relay station undetected in mission 11.



21. With Extreme Prejudice (25G) – Get to the POW compound in the Hind using only rockets.

The hardest part is the last part when your in the Hind. You have to take down 2 Hinds. Anticipate where they are going to fly. If you accidentally shoot, save and quit, then resume. This happened to me and I still got the achievement.



22. Russian Bar-B-Q (15G) – Incinerate 10 enemies with the flamethrower attachment in the POW compound.

Don't forget to pick it up. It's and Ak47 with the Flamethrower attachment and its at the entrance to the POW compound. Shouldn't be to hard to see. They guy using it usually shoots at you with it, so you'll see the flames.

23. Light Foot (30G) – Escape the ship with 2:15 left on the timer in Veteran, in mission 8, Project Nova.



24. Some Wounds Never Heal (10G) – Escape the Past.

25. I Hate Monkeys (15G) – Kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds in the Rebirth labs.

This is done in the level Rebirth.



26. No Leaks (50G) – Make it through the NOVA 6 gas without dying on Rebirth Island.



27. Clarity (10G) – Crack the code.
All you have to do is complete the level Revelations

28. Double Whammy (15G) – Destroy both helicopters with one Valkyrie rocket from the deck of the ship.

This is done in Redemption. Try and shoot one while its very close to the other so they both blow up. If you miss or only get one, kill yourself with a grenade.



29. Stand Down (35G) – Complete the campaign on any difficulty.

30. BLACK OP MASTER (100G) – Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.

31. Frag Master (15G) – Kill 5 enemies with a single frag grenade in the campaign.

32. Sally Likes Blood (15G) – Demonstrate killer economic sensibilities by taking down 3 enemies with a single bullet.



33. Unconventional Warfare (15G) – Use the explosive bolts to kill 30 enemies in the campaign.

34. Cold Warrior (25G) – Complete “Operation 40,” “Vorkuta,” and “Executive Order” on Veteran difficulty.

35. Down and Dirty (25G) – Complete “SOG” and “The Defector” on Veteran difficulty.

36. It’s Your Funeral (25G) – Complete “Numbers,” “Project Nova,” and “Victor Charlie” on Veteran difficulty.

37. Not Today (25G) – Complete “Crash Site,” “WMD,” and “Payback” on Veteran difficulty.

38. Burn Notice (25G) – Complete “Rebirth” and “Redemption” on Veteran difficulty.

39. Closer Analysis (15G) - Find all the hidden intel. — Find all 42 intel. (TUT coming soon)

40. Date Night (15G) – Watch a film or clip with a friend.
Use theater and watch a clip with another person in the lobby

41. In the Money (20G) – Finish 5 Wager Matches “in the money.”
Just play the cheap wager games and come 1st, 2nd or 3rd 5 times.

42. Ready for Deployment (15G) – Reach rank 10 in Combat Training.

43. The Collector (20G) – Buy every weapon off the walls in a single Zombies game. (VID COMING SOON)


44. Hands Off the Merchandise (20G) – Kill the Pentagon thief before it can steal your load-out.



45. Sacrificial Lamb (15G) – Shoot at or be shot by an ally with a Pack-a-Punch crossbow and kill six zombies with the explosion.



46. “Insert Coin” (5G) – Access the terminal and battle the forces of the Cosmic Silverback in Dead Ops Arcade. — You can do this after freeing yourself from the main menu’s chair (by looking down and repeatedly pressing the left & right triggers) and then walking to the computer terminal. There type in DOA to start the Dead Ops Arcade game, and play the twin-stick top-down shooter.

47. Easy Rhino (10G) – In Dead Ops Arcade, use a Speed Boost to blast through 20 or more enemies at one time. — You can do this right away in the first level of the mini game. Instead of shooting the zombies coming at you, keep walking back until there are 20 following you around. Then line them up, can be done by walking around the boat, and use your speed boost to kill all 20.

Secret Achievements

48. See Me, Stab Me, Heal Me (15G) – Fire a Pack-a-Punched Ballistic Knife at a downed ally to revive them from a distance.



49. Just Ask Me Nicely (15G) – Break free from the torture chair.

While at the main menu, repeatedly press LB and RB or L2 and R2 for Ps3 to get out and unlock the achievement.

50. Eaten By A Grue (15G) – Play Zork on the terminal.

Free yourself from the chair at the main menu and type "ZORK" into the terminal/computer thing. Should unlock straight away.

1. Chimp on the barbie (35G) - In Ascension, kill a space monkey with a fire trap.



2. Space Race (45G)- In Ascension, Pack-a-Punch a weapon by round 8.

3. They are going THROUGH! (35G) - In Ascension, kill at least 5 zombies with 1 Gersh Device.

Sweet thread man, I remember using the NGT Guides to help me out with the Mw2 and Black ops Platinum a while back, for anyone who's in doubt with these Guys, I at you. They produce quality guides that help you out loads in most likely every aspect of the Game, as far as I'm concerned, they did it for me =D I'd recommend them to anyone!
