i think treyarc should let us make our own map playlist, like

you want to play (favorite):
Nuketown
Summit
Firing range
WMD

and exclude all othger maps xD

That wouldn't work how you would expect it to. In order for that to work, matchmaking will have to place you in lobbies with other people who have the same custom playlist as you. Otherwise, after the match has finished, if other people's playlist doesn't match yours then the lobby will have to be closed or people will have to switch lobbies. It's kind of a good idea, but it's probably just as easy to back out from the lobby if the maps that you want aren't there, and go join another. That's what it would be like playing custom playlists too.

A good way to accomplish something like this would be for Treyarch to do a poll and ask the entire Black Ops community what their favourite map is and the top three should get dedicated sections, for example.

Well wouldnt people just put maps that they do well on in their playlists? Related note, I HATE Summit. It's basically just a battle of which team can stay in the computer room, like WTF.

No, there would be no voting, it just searches and puts you in the map you want, any ongoing / pre game lobby with that map =D
