(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); whats up guys? This is xx_fatal_xxMack and many of you have played demo with me. I never really understood the concept of spawn trapping, but recently, I've been getting a much better grasp of how things work. I gotta admit, I've played with teams that didn't know what they were doing at all, teams that kinda knew but weren't very well established, and teams that really knew how everything worked and made the game go very smooth. Anyways... here's a few things I've noticed that makes a team solid and very effective spawn killers:

1. TAC INSERTS!! this is a must. The whole point of spawn killing is to be in their spawn, without tac inserts, you leave open an exit for the enemy

2. Actually be in their spawn. Too many people sit back at the cut off points to try and pick people off. In a way, they are still being spawn trapped, but not how they should be. A good spawn trapper can and will have people spawn in their face.

3. Knowing the spawns. It's one thing to know the general area that they will spawn, but knowing the exact locations will help you be able to cover multiple spots at once without enemies sneaking up behind without you knowing.

4. Covering every spawn. This is kind of a continuation of number 3, but its very important. Every spawn should be covered by your team, and if someone dies, they need to let their team mates know so they can watch their back. Too many people want to fight for the best spawns in the match, but in the end it wont matter if all the spawns aren't covered.

5. Another note, always work together as a team and let people know whats going on. Before the match even starts, your team should know whats gonna happen, and which bomb will be planted. Sometimes teams get too anxious and rush their spawn too early, not allowing they to plant a bomb and therefor cutting the game much shorter than it should be.

6. Perks. When spawn killing... sleight of hand is a must. You will often be faced with many enemies at once and you will need to reload fast to save your ass. I would also recommend scavenger as you will run out of ammo quickly. 3rd perk is your call, but I like marathon is the best choice because it allows you to get to the key points quicker.

7. Finally... kill streaks. Using a blackbird is huge, as it will allow your team to know their exact spawns if they didn't already. If you aren't real comfortable with higher kill streaks, spy plane is also a good choice. Napalms, sentry guns, dogs, and choppers are very good depending on the map. I almost always run sentry gun/napalm, blackbird, dogs. Thats just my choice though

Well thats my take on spawn killing guys. I know many of you are much more experienced trappers than myself, but I feel that I'm quickly getting my name out there and known to all the trappers on this forum. Feel free to hit me up for some spawn killing... just make sure you know what you are doing :p If anyone has anything to add, feel free!

Added by Reaper:

not all 6 people in your team should use the same killstreaks, or people will be getting frustrated not being able to call their dogs/choppers in.

Also, not to use attack helicopters because they suck and prevent chopper gunners/hinds from being called in.

Whats the point of being on this forum if you're going to bitch about it? It's something we enjoy... so if you don't enjoy it, but yet are still on the forum, then you are the real one who needs to get a life

Sup fatal :p

Another thing, a lot of people ask how to spawn trap. The key to spawn trap, like you have said, is knowing the exact spawn locations. This doesn't take lots of experience to learn, it's really quite simple. Get your full party of 6, go to private match, everybody put their 2nd controllers on and start match. Put 2nd controllers on 1 team and you guys on the other, this way you can test which bomb to blow up and learn the exact spawn locations because that is what will make or break your spawn trap team.

Don't know if you wana add that, it's just an idea :p
