I'm going through what I made bold in order.

1. What you found was what I'm going to call a dummy. It does not get executed (you can check this by removing the function, but I doubt you found the one I'm talking about. Not because your not capable but because its hard to find in the first place) and it was probably used for debugging. The actual decryption happens in an SPU.

2. PS3News doesn't like people reversing games. I've only reversed it because I was interested to see what was done. NOT because I'm going to release it for all the kids.

Anyway, as I have said before. To get Fast Files loaded on the PS3 you need to modify the .self file. Meaning all the '10th Lobbiezzzz' and s*** wont be happening. Because

1. I dont want it to happen.
2. You cant go online with CFW (needed to run modified .self files)
3. Lets say you could, you would need the latest .self to sign in on the CoD Servers.
4. Lets say you did all of that, you would be banned in 10 minutes.

1. of-cause u dont want it to happen. you've always been like that. you didnt want MW2 Cl's because that means less publicity and $$ for you.

2. You can go online with CFW. just need the auth keys.. Many people have them just wont release them

3. u dont need the latest self? the self's somehow each connect to there own hotfixes/servers. its a matter of changing a few things..

4. you wont be banned if they dont find out? few legit stat changes and no bragging i will say they wont bother.. if only you get reported may sony check your recent logins and server changes.

So tell me may porting graf_chockos payload to 3.55 help with decrypting a few selfs?


Ohh and hy do we need modified selfs if we may find NPDRM key? Decrypt and encrypt and a little method of the old HDD decryption and bam i have the self on my 3.60 PS3

LOL @ them "not finding out" mate they've found out about every single glitch/mod/hack that's been possible upto this day and either banned the people using them or fixed it so you can't do it anymore.
Does that not make you think they have a system for checking if files have been modded or hacked?
Challenge lobbies would be completely pointless, yes they've been possible on previous Call of Duties but they've learnt from theirs and others mistakes and made it nigh on impossible to do now.
To top it all off Black Ops is a terrible game anyway, roll on November for MW3.

It could more easily compiled in the executable, instead of giving the executable the task of compiling the source code, then executing the encryption. And then, why would the PS3 need to encrypt? The PS3 only needs to decrypt the downloaded code, and execute...

can some one send the file that need to be cracked i work over at microsoft for coding and computer programmer just send me the file that needs decrpyting ill take a look at it and some basic programms to take a look at the file i know that 2 keys one private one not hmmm wont be to hard ill =) just send me the files and some small decrpting files
