(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); as some of you will / won't know IW heads last year about at this time got fired by activison this then had them go over to EA partner program under then name Respawn Entertainment (referd to as RE from now on) well RE then filed a lawsuit against activison about not getting fullied payed for COD games, while this was happening about 75% of IW left to join RE and these employes they were "not paid royleties on COD" aswell, but this is not the important part, the important part is that as part of this lawsuit by RE they clam that activison hold the right to Call Of Duty (and all games in that francise) but they do not own the rights to the Modern Warfare francise so this court case will decide who owns the MW francise, what this means is that those dumb people who just buy anything with COD or MW on the box but do not know about this, this would increase the sales of RE's game massively if it was a MW game, this is also the reson why MW3 has not been anounced by activison yet cause they carnt bring out MW3 if they don't own the francise.

what this means is that RE could own MW3 and have EA (dedicated) severs behind them, it could also mean that instead of a rushed every year MW game they take 2-3 years and make the best MW game.

so for you the consumer what does it really matter, well it could possibly make activison go bust, like out of business, if the judge rules that RE is indeed not been fully paid thats about 100 or so people not fully paid and then they will also have to be given extra for not getting paid at the time and activison will also get fined, and for those that dont rember MW2 sold 20,000+ copies and made $1 billion, so thats alot of money that is owed to the people plus extra so activison could go bust from this.

so in MAY RE vs activison, who will win, who will get MW license, will activison go bust, what will happen.

yes this is the reson MW3 has not yet been anounced.

it would be best for all of us if RE win the case.....

now a bit of a down side if activison did go bust and bankrupt that would be the end of all the francises, these are

1) COD
2) Tony Hawk
3) James Bond
4) World Of Warcraft

these are then main well know but many more will go out.....

but this could could also mean that EA or another company can buy them out and then oqn everyhting that they owned.

Meh other than COD, James Bond is the only other important thing from Activision. I honestly hope EA win, they will take the COD series in a good direction.

Activision Blizzard have already dropped all skateboard related games, plus others, to work on their new " un-announced " project.

Tbh, I don't mind who makes it, I'll still buy it either way. Just like everyone else will.

They would get bumgie then, i thought it would be funny if sony bought bungie and then bungie went from XBOX exclusives to PS3 exclusives, how funny would that be...

maybe if they made a decent tony hawk again they could be more stable. hope RE wins this one but if they do i hope their modern warfare titles have the same controls and game engine and stuff like that.

Then that means Infinity Ward would make a new Call of Duty series and so on top of the Annual Cod releases there would be Modern Warfare releases too

I've been waiting for RE back on the days when I'm on IW forums.

It does take 2 years to make a COD game. Hece why they have had one made by IW and one made by Treynarch (they alternate so both games have roughly 2 years and with Sledge Hammer now they could have 3 years if IW keeps makeing COD with Activison) Honestly I say EA should get MW and let Activison stick with games takeing place in history or something. And also I doubt Activison will go bankrupt anytime soon e_e
