Guide to Xbox/PS3 Solo Zombies Ascension Level 40 Everytime!

Hey guys whats up, this is AgentLife-Botz, call me LifeBot for short =D. Im feeling bored since the servers are down and have absolutely nothing to do Lol. So i decide to give back to the community for everything i learned and compile into a mega-guide on how to run Ascension and make it your bitch Smile. Nazi Zombies uses the skill of vision and concentration. So of course theres a few things you will need to know.

There a few benefits to playing Solo. One of which is the ability to pause the game. This is very useful, in case something comes up in RL you need to situate. You can simply pause the game and pick up where you left off. The other major benefit of Solo play, is that Quick Revive turns into a "self-reviving" perk, for instance if you happen to screw up and normally "get killed", quick revive will replace your death for you to be in down mode with Mustang & Sally (rocket launcher pistols :loveSmile Another HUGE benefit is you dont have to worry about your friends/party running on NetScape and your internet crashing lol (yes i used the forbidden word "NetScape")

[multipage=What Do I Need]

So on to the question.
What do i need?:

  • Time (Alot of it, 2-3 hours approx)
  • Concentration
  • Make sure your controller is plugged in
  • Knowledge of the map
  • Some math skills? :angel:

Once youve gathered your requirements and practiced that map a few times, head onto the next page.

[multipage=The Tutorial]
Like a said above, Nazi Zombies use an immense amount of concentration and vision. Without these skill sets, your "essentially" ****ed. So lets getting started with the tutorial. Assuming the readers have never played Ascension, ill start from base 1.

(Ill be using a nifty new tool i found called "List" the BBCode is [.LIST][./LIST] Remove the periods)

  1. Level One: Buy Quick Revive(ALWAYS) Use a 6shot-knife technique on the zombies, this provides maximum point efficiency (Use this for round One only!)
  2. Level Two: Shot the remaining of your shots into a zombie, knife the rest.
  3. Level Three: Knife every zombies, if a max ammo drops at the end of round two, or during round three, use an 8shot-knife technique. Open the TOP[/U] door at the end of round three.
  4. Level Four-Five: Buy the MP5K immediately and run up to the platform where PhD Flopper is. (DO NOT Stand near any windows) get all headshots.
  5. Level Six-Eight: Continue with your headshots. At the end of Round Eight, either make a crawler or leave a SLOW one alive. Buy the door to the right of MP5K and head up to the power switch. NEVER BUY THE DOOR LEADING TO JUGG.
  6. Level Nine: After you through a couple box spins (use ALL your money on the box). You should have descent guns. (Ill tell you at the end of this page what guns are ideal) If you didnt get anything good, i recremend restarting the game. You dont have to.
  7. Level 10: Repeat headshots untill you get the Ray Gun
  8. Level ??: Once you get the Ray Gun, use your other weapon for headshots. Keep buying box untill you get ThunderGun. Gershs arnt very primary, you can pick them up in the later rounds
  9. Level ??+: If you havent gotten the Ray Gun buy the SECOND monkey round, your SOL on perks.
  10. (Skip) Level ??: Once you have your RayGun/ThunderGun finally (DO NOT EVER UPGRADE EVER!!!!) Make a crawler at the end of your current round, and open up the pack a punch room. (Run circles following the circle on the ground, STAY AWAY from corners and rooms and the middle)
  11. Level ??: Continue running circles untill your bored, or satisfied with your current level.
  12. Level ??: If you ever happen to run out of ammo, go ahead and upgrade your gun that is out of ammo. (Make sure you have a crawler, and you dont upgrade while zombies are out) Only upgrade one of them, pref the RayGun.

JUGGERNAUT PERK INFO![/U]
Ok for juggernaut, you want to wait untill after the first monkey round. Making sure the monkeys dont touch quick revive will give you a chance at a free 2500credit perk! If you dont get jugg for free, go buy it. Nuff said.

Monkey Round[/U]

  1. Each Monkey Round has about 3-4 zombie rounds in between
  2. Start heading there at the end of each round (If you had monkeys at round 8, start heading there at the end of round 11 or 12)
  3. My official strategy for monkeys is the first 3 monkey rounds, stand in front of the Jugg door to the left of Quick Revive
  4. Using your Ray Gun, eliminate all monkeys, the idea is to NOT let them hit either perk machine (everyone wants an extra free perk? =D)
  5. Near the later rounds (30ish) you should be successfully holding 4 perks (ill mention in another page your primay guns/perks as well as secondary)
  6. Like i said, in the later rounds, kind of guard Jugg/QR primarily, and when there seems like there none left start walking upstairs and watch to make sure none jump down, quickly kill all monkeys touching any perks

MONKEY ROUND INFO[/U]
If you happen to get PhD Flopper as one of your perks. LET the monkeys take it.

[multipage=Primary Guns]
There are a few guns that are primary, and should be taken over any gun. Ill list them for best to worst. Im not even going to mention the garbage guns.

  • Ray Gun
  • ThunderGun
  • HK21
  • Commando
  • RPK
  • Galil
  • AUG (Early rounds)

[multipage=Primary Perks]
There are perks that need to be bought before any other ones.

  • Quick Revive
  • Jugg
  • Stamin-Up
  • Speed Load
  • PhD Flopper (Once you lose your Quick Revives *you can buy 3 Quick Revives*

[multipage=Primary Power Ups (Important >READ!<Winky Winky]
By far the biggest high level game killer is your decision on what power ups to get and when to get them. Here are the Primary Power Ups

  • Max Ammo (Replinishs ALL ammo! Most important, TIP: Reload all weapons and throw a gersh or 2 befoer picking it up)
  • Carpenter (This repairs ALL windows, slows down zombies from coming at you, essentially giving you a time window to clean up zombies, reload and get ready to go again)
  • Nuke (Clears all SPAWNED zombies) Again, good for a reload and getting ready to go again.
  • Instant Kill (Again very nice, kills all zombies you shoot instatlly with 1 shot) Good for clearing up and reloading
  • 2x Points or "Double Points" (Great for point whoring) Point whoring is essential..(You NEED to have alot of points, if you die, youll ned to get ALL you perks back IMMEDIATELY)
  • Death Machine (NEVER EVER EVER EVER GET DEATH MACHINE!!!!!) Death Machine is the worst power up EVER! Dont get me wrong its nice, untill about round 18. After that, zombies eat bullets and your not running very fast.

Combo Power Ups:

  • Carpenter & 2x Points: Gives a good amount of points from carpenter alone, 2x Points will give you more for killing
  • Instant Kill & 2x Points: Great combo, rack up points and clear easy
  • Instant Kill & Carpenter: Great for clearing zombies, giving you time to reset and reload to get ready for more

How did you miss max ammo of primary power ups? Max ammo is the most important thing in the game, after Juggernaut (my opinion). Dont get me wrong, I have clutched rounds like 40 with a pistol, when I ran out of ammo I used traps and the sickle.
